Steve Wagner captures the dynamic awe-inspiring world that we live in

as well as the world inside his vast imagination.  He has a reverence for nature and

love of the outdoors.  His realistic depictions of the transformative effects of light and

color in the earth, sky, clouds, mountains, water, and flowers are life-affirming.

He paints with ...inward vision... and his practiced technique conveys a sense of

immediacy and harmony that we feel. He applies the strengths of his medium to achieve

personal instinctual constructions designed for balance and scale. His belief is that the

painting actually communicates it's own path in the context of being in the moment

making his application confident and full of passion and spirit.
